CEB Advisory
As of April 24, 230pm

All domestic and international Cebu Pacific and Cebgo flights remain cancelled from May 1 to 15, 2020. This is in line with the extension of Enhanced Community Quarantine imposed over much of Luzon, and implementation of General Community Quarantine over other provinces. Restrictions are also implemented by local governments across the Philippines.

We will continue to mount all-cargo flights to help transport vital goods across the Philippines.

We will provide updates on when we will restart passenger operations, as soon as possible.

Passengers affected by flight cancellations are urged to manage their bookings via our website, http://bit.ly/CEBmanageflight

They may opt for Travel Fund with extended 1 year validity and option to refund (if unused after 1 year). Other options are free rebooking and refund.

-REPOST-

To those who had to cancel travel plans, we empathize with you. We understand that you were looking foward to spending time with family and friends abroad, trying new food, and experiencing different cultures.

Yes, to put it bluntly, it sucks. Holy Week is peak season for the travel industry, but what sucks more is that there is now zero business for us in this industry.

To those demanding a refund from a travel agency, rest assured we are all trying our best to get your money back.

But in this time of COVID-19, we ask for your patience and empathy. Think before you speak. There is no need to yell, no need to swear, no need to threaten your travel agents with law suits. This is the time for class, not crass.

If you can afford a luxury tour out of the country, we are sure it is not the end of the world if you do not receive a refund today.

Again, we urge you to please think about the plight of others before you complain about why your refund is taking so long.

Think about the thousands who do not have jobs in the travel industry at this time:

1. Travel agents who passionately planned your tour, and the reservations staff, visa processors, etc. who did the legwork

2. Bus, ferry, and train drivers who were supposed to safely drive you, and the mechanics who maintain the transportation

3. Tour guides who were excited to explain the beauty of their country to you

4. Chefs, waiters, and waitresses who were supposed to prepare and serve you new cuisine

5. Hotel staff, from the doorman, bell boy/porters, check-in counter, and cleaning staff who were supposed to ensure your comfort

6. Flight attendants, pilots, and all airline/airport crew who were supposed to get you to your destination

7. Entertainers who were supposed to lively sing and dance for your happiness

8. Shop owners who were preparing to practice their bargaining and discount tactics so that you could bring home a luggage full of souvenirs

The list goes on and on.

So again, our only request is for your patience and understanding.

Think before you speak.
Thank you, and please stay at home, be productive, and may God bless you and your families with good health. 🙂

We look forward to the day we can travel with you again, hopefully sooner, than later.

Free rebooking for all passengers booking flights and traveling from MARCH 10-31, 2020 ONLY
Cebu Pacific offers flexibility to passengers, given the Philippine government’s updates with regards to the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).
We understand the concerns and hesitation passengers have with regards to air travel. Hence, we have made some revisions to our booking policies:
1. Passengers booked for Philippines and international travel from March 10 to 31, 2020 can rebook their flights for free. Fare difference may apply. They may rebook their flights through the following:
a. By calling the hotline at +632-8702-0888 [7am-10pm (PH local time), daily]. Visit http://bit.ly/CEBcontactus for our other contact centers
b. Through the "Manage Booking" portal in the Cebu Pacific website (http://bit.ly/CEBmanageflight). This option will be available starting March 11 (Wednesday)
2. Passengers booking new flights between March 10 and 31, 2020 (regardless of travel date and route) can avail CEB Flexi for free. CEB Flexi enables travelers to rebook their flights up to two times, and up to (2) hours before departure. Fare difference may apply. Simply select the "CEB Flexi" add-on. They may use CEB Flexi to rebook their flights through the "Manage Booking" portal in the Cebu Pacific website (http://bit.ly/CEBmanageflight).

While there are some restrictions in place, in general, travelling remains largely safe, as long as preventive measures are done habitually and travelers stay updated on factual information.
Cebu Pacific has always been committed to upholding the safety of all our passengers and personnel. Preventive measures are in place to manage the risk of infection from COVID-19 . These measures include thorough disinfection of aircraft, on top of the regular cleaning; providing our crew with Personnel Protective Equipment such as face masks, gloves and disinfectants; restriction on transferring of seats during our flights; and use of HEPA air filters, that block 99.99% of contaminants and viruses.
We hope this provides a measure of confidence as passengers consider their travel plans. We will continue to monitor the situation with regards to COVID-19, and provide updates as necessary.

Philippines’ leading airline. Lowest fares to over 60 destinations in Asia, Australia and Middle East.
