26/02/2025
Dear Valued Clients,
Please be advised that the new hand-carry policy of Cebu Pacific will be implemented effective 26 February 2025 to provide efficient service and ensure consistent policy application across all stations.
Guidelines:
1. No. of Pieces:
Passengers are allowed to bring one (1) piece of hand-carry baggage to fit in the overhead bin and one (1) piece to store under the seat in front of them. Several small items must be combined into a maximum of two pieces of baggage.
2. Hand-Carry Charges:
Passengers may bring two (2) hand-carry items free of charge. However, a Gate Baggage Fee applies to passengers with more than two (2) pieces of bags.
3. Type of Baggage:
Any hand-carry baggage may be brought into the flight given it is not against the Dangerous Goods and Security Prohibited list and can fit in the overhead bin (within 56cm x 36cm x 23cm) or under the seat in front (within 20cm x 20cm x 35cm). Some examples of a hand-carry item include the following:
• Cabin-size trolley/luggage
• Backpack or laptop/camera bag
• Sling bag, handbag, shoulder bag, or small purse
• Items purchased at the airport, including Duty-Free Items (DFI), donuts, fruit boxes, etc.
• Baby bag, medical-related items, or food items not accepted for check-in.
4. Weighing of Baggage:
While the combined weight of both hand-carry items must be 7kg or less, weighing of the hand-carry bag is NOT required during check-in or boarding — unless the item looks very heavy and may pose a safety risk on either the passenger or our employee.
5. Passenger Responsibility:
Passengers must be able to carry, stow, and secure the hand-carry item themselves.
6. Exceptions for Connecting or Disruptions Flights:
Passengers shall be permitted to bring additional items without additional charge during their connecting flight on the same booking or when they are disrupted.
Please be guided accordingly. Thank you.
