Float (Philippines)

WHO reports that the Philippines has one of the highest rates of drowning among children in the world. FLOAT aims to address this through the innovative use of surf lifesaving & learn to swim programs. Float has raised the funds for 2 lifesavers to be qualified in their pilot area of Baler, & has secured equipment. A law has been passed to tax tourists a small amount to support the training &employment of 10 lifeguards this year. The Australian students behind the project aim to hand it over the management of the program to local Filippino entrepreneurs.

Our on going RnD on Philippine materials, paint, and problem solving. Here, on our glassing rack is our own guy from the HI own birthday board noserider. experiment on local spray paint. (do not use spray paint unless it's foam friendly) So, always test products before committing.
