On Assignment

It's been a while since I last came back to this place.

I've brought many people here, witnessed sacred ceremonies, and found refuge in these mountains during some of the most confusing seasons of my life. Somehow, Batad always reminds me to slow down, listen, and reconnect.

Choose the Philippines, even when it's difficult. Its beauty isn't always found in comfort, but in the people, the mountains, and the stories that shape us.

This afternoon, this was the view from my remote office as I wrote my reconnaissance report.
