Maligayang araw ng mga manggagawa!

Bilang bahagi ng ating adbokasiya para sa pag-unlad ng lokal na turismo at ekonomiya, buong-pusong nakikiisa ang Pamahalaang Lokal ng Bani sa paggunita ng Araw ng Manggagawa ngayong Mayo 1.

Ang ating mga manggagawa—mula sa sektor ng turismo, agrikultura, pangingisda, at serbisyo—ang tunay na haligi ng kaunlaran at nagbibigay sigla sa ating mga destinasyon at komunidad.

Sa patuloy na pagyabong ng turismo, sama-sama nating itaguyod ang disenteng trabaho, makatarungang oportunidad, at mas ligtas na pamumuhay para sa lahat.

This week, we highlight Aragan Salad, a refreshing coastal twist on the classic KBL (Kamatis, Bagoong, Lasona). Made with fresh Aragan (Sargassum) seaweed mixed with Botinggan (wild ilocano cherry tomato), lasona (shallots), bagoong, and a squeeze of Perres (local lime) or calamansi, this salad bursts with flavor—tangy, savory, and naturally umami.

Foraged from our coastal waters and prepared by our dedicated fisherfolks in Bani, this dish showcases the creativity of Filipino cuisine, turning simple, local ingredients into a vibrant, healthy, and uniquely Filipino salad.

This week, we proudly feature Buridibod, a healthy and savory Ilocano dish. Buridibod is made with mixed vegetables—often young Panalayapen leaves, malunggay (moringa), sweet potato, sigarilyas and patani—stewed in a bagoong, thickened with mashed kamote, and topped with fried or grilled fish.

A variant of dinengdeng or inabraw, Buridibod is celebrated for its creamy, naturally sweet, and flavorful broth, highlighting the richness of local vegetables and traditional Filipino flavors.

BANI BEACH MONITORING UPDATE
April 9, 2026 — 9 AM

The Bani MDRRMO and the Bani Tourism Office have conducted our regular monitoring of key beach destinations in the municipality. As of 10 AM today, the following areas have reached the indicated capacity levels:

Surip Beach — 15%
Olanen Beach — 30%
Tubong Beach — 15%
Polipol Island — 15%
Little Boracay — 10%

We continue to monitor all tourist areas to ensure safety, orderliness, and comfort for both visitors and residents.

Ngayong Araw ng Kagitingan, ginugunita natin ang kabayanihan ng mga Pilipino at mga sundalong nag-alay ng buhay para sa kalayaan ng ating bansa — isang aral ng tapang, pagkakaisa, at pag-asa na patuloy nating isasabuhay.

Sa mga hamon ng ating panahon, nawa’y magsilbi ang diwa ng kagitingan bilang inspirasyon upang mag-hangad ng kapayapaan at pagkakaisa sa buong mundo.

Nawa’y matapos na ang kaguluhan sa Iran at umusbong ang tunay na kapayapaan para sa lahat.

𝟯,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗝𝗨𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗟𝗘 𝗔𝗕𝗔𝗟𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗘𝗗 𝗜𝗡 𝗦𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗗𝗔𝗖𝗢 𝗠𝗣𝗔!

As part of ongoing marine conservation efforts, SCUBASURA, a group of divers from Bani and Alaminos City, in partnership with LGU Bani, successfully released 3,000 juvenile abalone today, April 8, 2026, into the SanCeDaCo Marine Protected Area (MPA).

Launched in 2016, the SCUBASURA Drive has been instrumental in protecting Bani’s coastal and marine ecosystems. This initiative helps replenish marine life, safeguard biodiversity, and strengthen the health of our waters.

A big thank you to all volunteers, dive groups, and partner agencies who made this possible!

𝗦𝗖𝗨𝗕𝗔𝗦𝗨𝗥𝗔 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲: 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗿𝗲𝗮

In line with our commitment to environmental stewardship and the protection of our marine biodiversity, the LGU Bani conducted a SCUBASURA Coastal Clean-up today April 8, 2026 at Olanen Beach, Surip Beach, and Polipol Island—all part of the SanCeDaCo Marine Protected Area (MPA).

This initiative reinforces our efforts to safeguard the rich marine life and pristine coastal environments within the SanCeDaCo MPA. With the help of our dedicated volunteers, dive groups, and partner agencies, we continue to uphold our responsibility to preserve these vital ecosystems.

Thank you to everyone who took part in today’s clean-up drive. Together, we ensure a cleaner, healthier, and more resilient Bani.
