Under the leadership of Mayor Paolo Teves, the Municipality of Baras warmly welcomed the delegates and participants of the ๐ฆ๐ถ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐บ! โ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ด๐ธ๐ฎ๐ผ๐ป ๐๐ถ๐ธ๐ผ๐น๐ป๐ผ๐ปโ ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ฒ๐ โ ๐๐ผ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐น ๐ฆ๐๐ฎ๐ธ๐ฒ๐ต๐ผ๐น๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐โ ๐๐๐๐ฒ๐๐๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ & ๐ฉ๐ฎ๐น๐ถ๐ฑ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ง๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฝ held on May 25โ29, 2026, during their visit to Binurong Point, one of the municipalityโs premier eco-tourism destinations.
Led by Jerico R. Tating, the Municipal Tourism Office facilitated the visit and warmly received the delegation as they explored the scenic landscapes of Baras and experienced the municipalityโs local delicacies, including the renowned Temones Original Baras Longganisa and products from JSE Sweets, proudly featured during the validation activity as part of Barasโ contribution to the rich culinary heritage and distinct flavors of Catanduanes.
This initiative, spearheaded by the Department of Tourism Region V, the Provincial Government of Catanduanes, and its tourism stakeholders, aims to further promote the provinceโs gastronomy tourism through the documentation, validation, and appreciation of local food traditions, community stories, and cultural identity across the island.
