Batadnons, it's time to showcase your talent, creativity, and Christmas spirit!
The Local Government Unit of Batad invites all Batadnons to join the Christmas Sayawit Competition 2026 as part of this year's Kapawa sa Banwa celebration.
𝗪𝗛𝗢 𝗖𝗔𝗡 𝗝𝗢𝗜𝗡?
The competition is open to all Batadnons, including:
- Students
- Civil Society Organizations (CSOs)
- People's Organizations (POs)
- Fraternities and Sororities
- Government Personnel
- Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Officials
- Youth Organizations
- School-Based Organizations
- Private Citizens
𝗚𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗣 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡:
- Minimum of 15 members
- Maximum of 30 members, inclusive of performers
- Only NINE (9) groups will be accepted as official contestants.
𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗧 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗚𝗨𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗦:
- Each group must present a combination of singing and dancing (Sayawit) with a duration of 3 to 5 minutes only.
- Performances must reflect the spirit of Christmas, highlighting joy, love, peace, hope, generosity, unity, and Filipino Christmas traditions.
- Performances may use Filipino, English, or Hiligaynon.
- Creative, colorful, and Christmas-themed costumes are encouraged. Handheld props and stage accessories are allowed, provided they are safe.
- Groups may use recorded music, live accompaniment, or both. Music and audio materials must be submitted three (3) days before the competition.

Singing and Vocal Quality – 25%
Dance and Choreography – 25%
Creativity and Originality – 20%
Overall Performance and Stage Presence – 15%
Costume, Props, and Visual Presentation – 10%
Christmas Spirit and Theme Interpretation – 5%
𝗖𝗔𝗦𝗛 𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗭𝗘𝗦:
Champion – ₱10,000
First Runner-Up – ₱7,000
Second Runner-Up – ₱5,000
Consolation Prize – ₱3,000
𝗥𝗘𝗚𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗗𝗘𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗟𝗦
Deadline: November 9, 2026 (Monday), until 4:00 PM
Venue: Tourism Office, 2nd Floor, Batad Municipal Gymnasium
Interested groups must submit their group name, list of members and their valid ID bearing their respective address, group leader, and other required information upon registration.
