PAL TRAVEL ADVISORY:

Please be advised that effective immediately, passengers of Philippine Airlines with confirmed tickets to and from Xiamen, Jinjiang, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong and Macau issued on or before 24 January 2020 for travel between 24 January until 29 February 2020 may request for rebooking, rerouting or refund with waiver of penalties.

We are carrying out this move to give our passengers with flights to and from China the flexibility to make adjustments in their travel plans.

Here are the guidelines:

1. Rebooking and Rerouting are allowed for travel until 30 June 2020 with penalties waived (note: fare difference and applicable taxes shall apply.)

2. Refunding the cost of tickets is allowed with penalties waived

*SA LAHAT NG NAGTATANONG*
Sa mga nagtataka at nagtatanong Bakit magulo sa hongkong? 2months ago (start ng protest ) napag alaman ng Hongkong Bar Council (samahan ng mga abogado parang IBP sa atin) na May ipapasa ang Legislative Council(parang Congress sa atin) na isang Bill ito ay EXTRADITION BILL TO CHINA. Ibig sabihin sa Bill na ito na pinahihintulutan na himasukan ng China ang anomang mga kaso na mangyayari dito sa hongkong , example nakapatay ka instead na sa HK lang lilitisin may option na pwede sabihin ng China na dalhin dito sa China ang akusado at dito na lilitisin. Sa EXTRADITION BILL hindi lang heinous crime ang sa China litisin lahat ng kaso na gusto nila dun ang trial. Kaya nag react ang HK Bar council kasi nung tinanong nila ang Chief Executive dito( pinaka head of state) if she can give assurance na maging patas ang trial pag sa China gagawin hindi siya makabigay ng assurance. (Sa China kasi mostly is capital punishment ang hatol). At dahil diyan tinutulan ng HK Bar Council ang Bill na ipasa ,ayaw nila na panghimasokan ng China ang judicial system nila dahil may kasunduan nung ibinalik ng British ang HK sa China na magiging ONE NATION WITH 2 GOVERNMENT hindi lahat panghihimasokan ng China na May independent policy or law ang HK. Kung ano ang batas ng HK kanila yun hindi applicable ang batas ng China kahit pa under ng China ang Hk. So dahil sa 2nd big rally nung June 19 nag decide si Chief Executive Lam na e hold muna ang pag pasa ng Bill at e revise kung anuman mga loopholes. Pero ayaw ng mga hongkongers gusto nila total rejection as in ibasura ni Lam ang bill at dahil hindi sila naniniwala na dead na ang bill kaya tuloy2 ang protest nila.

Ngayon Bakit lumala ang gulo? Dahil naging biolente na ang mga rallyista everytime mag rally sila during Sundays and some few protest on weekdays may isang group of people wearing white shirts( triad group daw na hired ng gobyerno) na kumakalaban sa mga protesters hinahampas nila ng mga stick,tubo or anything ang mga nag rarally, this was happened last Sunday sa yuen long mtr station madami nasaktan sa nangyaring gulo. At dahil sa pangyayari na yun ang hk defense council humingi na ng tulong sa China(as per agreement ) na padalhan ng army sa HK to help the peace and order. At dahil na din sa ginawa ng mga naka white shirt lumalaban lalo ang mga protesters (wearing black shirt as color code nila). So yun police at triad na ang kalaban ng mga protesters.
Kaya the PHILIPPINE CONSULATE adviced OFW not to wear white or black shirt pra maiwasan mapagkamalan na kasali to any of these group. At wag pumunta sa mga lugar na May mga rally. hongkong is still safe, iwas lang sa rally👌

(PH Gov't. still didn't give any Travel Advisory regarding HK! Magkagayon man, iwasan muna natin ang hongkong pansamantala hanggang humupa ang gulo.. marami pa rin tayong destinasyon na pwede nating mapuntahan..) 😊
