TRAVELLERS TO SINGAPORE
FYI...

Filipinos can now fly to Singapore and forego testing and quarantines upon arrival, provided that they submit medical and travel requirements to ensure safe travels.

Fully vaccinated tourists coming from the Philippines can fly straight to Singapore and back without having to quarantine on arrival. Travelers on a "restricted list" will face quarantine upon landing in Singapore, although there are currently no countries on the list.

Partially vaccinated individuals must quarantine for a week and take an RT-PCR test on the seventh day.

A traveler's digital VaxCert must be submitted online via Singapore's Vaccination Check Portal for verification. Once cleared, the individual will receive an acceptance letter that may be used during immigration.

A passenger's SG Arrival Card will contain their overseas vaccination certificate and health declaration forms, which must be filled out 3 days before arrival in Singapore to prevent delays at checkpoints.

The arrival card can be filled out and submitted digitally via the website or free-for-download apps for iOS and Android.

Negative RT-PCR tests must reflect the traveler's name, and date of birth or passport number, along with the date of the COVID test and result.

For more information on proof of vaccination status accepted in Singapore, visit the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) website.

According to ICA, unvaccinated short term visitors are required to purchase travel insurance with a minimum coverage of S$30,000 (approximately P1,157,126) against COVID-19 related medical charges.

Though Singapore no longer requires the presentation of COVID travel insurance, it may be classified as a pre-departure requirement for some airlines or flights.

What happens on arrival?
Upon arrival, passports will no longer be stamped. Tourists will receive an e-Pass stating official length of stay. This will be sent to the e-mail used in SG Arrival Card registration.

Travelers must download the TraceTogether app on their mobile phones and register their profile for contact tracing in Singapore.

COVID testing and quarantine upon arrival are no longer mandatory.

"If you are symptomatic on arrival, you may be directed to take a COVID-19 test or be subjected to other requirements as instructed by officers," the ICA said.

Each Antigen Rapid Test costs S$30 (approx. P1,136), while each RT-PCR Test will cost S$138 (approx. P5,224).
