As Mt. Lantad continues to inspire travelers with its breathtaking views and rising tourism, the need for preparedness becomes just as important as the journey itself. Every guide carries not only the responsibility of leading the trail, but also the safety of every life that climbs with them.
On May 22, 2026 | 2:00 PM at Guinobatan, Bato, Catanduanes, JCI Catanduanes will hold โSea of Clouds sa Lantad: Weather Forecasting para sa Pagtukadโ โ a purposeful initiative aimed at equipping Mt. Lantad tour guides with fundamental knowledge in weather forecasting and disaster preparedness to help ensure safer trekking experiences and better tourist assistance.
Joining the activity is John Ariel Rojas, ABS-CBN News Resident Meteorogist and a member of JCI Catanduanes, who will share valuable insights that strengthen safety awareness while promoting responsible and sustainable tourism for the local community.
Because every successful trek begins with awareness, preparedness, and care for both people and nature.
