⚠️ ADVISORY: WILD BEE (PUTYUKAN) ALERT ⚠️

Attention all hikers and visitors of TAN-AWAN PEAK!

Please be extra cautious as you navigate the trails.Putyukan (Wild Bees) have been spotted in that area which is in the picture.These bees are highly protective of their hives and can be dangerous if disturbed.Your safety is our top priority, so please keep the following in mind:

🐝 HOW TO STAY SAFE:

Stay Vigilant:Keep an eye out for hanging hives and listen for loud buzzing sounds.

Keep Your Distance:If you spot a hive, do not approach it. Give it a wide berth.

Stay Quiet & Calm:Avoid loud noises or sudden movements that might agitate the colony.

Avoid Strong Scents:Refrain from wearing heavy perfumes or colognes, as sweet scents can attract bees.

Watch Your Step:Stick to the established paths to avoid accidentally stepping on or brushing against a nest.

🛑 IN CASE OF AN ENCOUNTER:

1.Do Not Swat:Swatting at a bee may cause it to sting and release a pheromone that signals others to attack.
2.Cover Your Face:Protect your eyes and face with your arms or clothing.
3.Leave Quickly:Move away from the area immediately and seek shelter in a vehicle or building if possible.
