St. James The Apostle Church St. James The Apostle Church has been dubbed as the Sistine Chapel of the Philippines it is located at Betis, Gua Gua Pampanga.

Although the Betis Church has been around for a long time it is only popular to locals in Betis and a limited amount of people are familiar and has visited the church. With its beautiful paintings and wood carvings you would actually feel like you're in another country; who knew that such place actually existed?! With a budget of 500-600 php and 1-2 hours travel time you will be able to see this w

onderful place, this includes a round trip fare, food and pasalubong! It's definitely worth the trip:)

How to get there? Here's how:

Take the LRT and go to Doroteo Jose (Php 15)

When you go down you will see Avenida Bus Terminal

Take the bus going to Pampanga via Genesis Lines (Php 100, show Senior Citizen or
School ID for Discount!)

Go down at Sm Pampanga and ask around where you can ride a jeep going to
Gua Gua (Php 20)

From there you'll be passing by a few churches so be sure that you're actually going down at St. James, to be sure ask the driver
