Additional Cancelled Flights Due to Mt. Kanlaon Eruption
As of July 9, 2026; 8:00 PM
Cebu Pacific advises passengers that some flights may be cancelled, delayed, or adjusted following the recent eruption of Mt. Kanlaon.
As a safety precaution, Cebu Pacific is conducting aircraft engine inspections on aircraft that may have been exposed to volcanic ash. These inspections are necessary to ensure that every aircraft is fully cleared before returning to operations.
While this may result in delays and schedule adjustments, the safety of our passengers and crew remains our highest priority. Cebu Pacific is working to complete the required inspections as quickly and safely as possible, while minimizing disruption to affected passengers.
