The long‑delayed Unified Grand Central Station (also known as the Common Station) in North EDSA, Quezon City is finally moving forward — and there’s now a target year for when it will serve the public!

According to recent reports, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) is eyeing the station’s opening by early 2027. This comes after the agency began seeking a new contractor via a PPP scheme to restart and fast‑track the project.

The Common Station will connect LRT‑1, MRT‑3, MRT‑7, and eventually the Metro Manila Subway, making it one of the most important transport hubs in the country. The DOTr emphasized that completing the station is essential, especially with MRT‑7 scheduled for full operations by 2026.

📍 Location: North Avenue–EDSA, Quezon City
🚆 Lines Connected: LRT‑1, MRT‑3, MRT‑7, Metro Manila Subway (future)
