LOOK: The Amirul Hajj NCMF Secretary Sabuddin N. Abdurahim arrived at the Mina Camp today, May 25, 2026. He chose to stay behind to personally ensure that all Filipino hujjāj (pilgrims) were properly transported from their hotel and comfortably billeted in Mina before proceeding to the camp himself. He finally arrived in Mina in the morning after making sure that no Filipino pilgrim was left behind.

Sec. Abdurahim was assisted by the NCMF Advance and Supervisory Teams who have been conducting careful inspections of the camp in anticipation of the pilgrims’ stay. The Amirul Hajj Entourage and the Hajj Attache also helped welcome the hujjaj as they commence the hajj rituals. Likewise, the NCMF Medical Team was posted in their station before the pilgrims’ arrival.
The arrival of the Hujjaj in Mina is the start of Masha’er or the hajj rituals performed outside the Holy City of Makkah. Let us continue to pray for the safety of all the Filipino pilgrims as they embark on this spiritual journey.

LOOK: As the rest of the Muslim Filipinos back in the Philippines prepared to celebrate Eid’l Adha or the Feast of Sacrifice, the Amirul Hajj of the Philippine delegation was at Muzdalifah to oversee the conduct of the Hajj rituals for the night. NCMF Secretary Sabuddin N. Abdurahim personally supervised the mobilization of the pilgrims and ensured that they were all safe and settled at the area.

Alhamdulillah the Filipino pilgrims were able to perform the Hajj rites at the Muzdalifah plains with ease and return to Mina to complete their spiritual journey. As best practice of his administration, Sec. Abdurahim prioritized the transport of all the pilgrims before leaving the area himself.

Sec. Abdurahim was assisted by his entourage, the Hajj Attache, and the NCMF supervisory team.

Hajj Night 2026: Celebrating Success Through Gratitude, Recognition, and Partnership

The Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah joined the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF) for an evening of gratitude, recognition, and partnership during Hajj Night 2026, held on 31 May 2026 at Millennium Al Masar, Jeddah.

The event honored the dedication and invaluable contributions of individuals and organizations whose efforts helped ensure the welfare, safety, and well-being of Filipino pilgrims during Hajj 2026. It brought together government officials, Hajj service providers, and partner institutions, highlighting the strong collaboration that supported Filipino pilgrims throughout the Hajj season.

The gathering underscored the importance of sustained cooperation among Philippine government agencies and partner institutions in strengthening support systems for Filipino Muslims undertaking the sacred pilgrimage.

The Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah and the NCMF extend their sincere appreciation to all partners and stakeholders whose commitment, service, and unwavering support contributed to the success of initiatives for Filipino pilgrims during Hajj 2026.
