The wind signals warn the public of the general wind threat over an area due to the tropical cyclone. Local winds may be slightly stronger/enhanced in coastal and upland/mountainous areas exposed to winds. Winds are less strong in areas sheltered from the prevailing wind direction.

Present during the meeting were Brgy. Officials of Maligcong, Tourguides, Homestay Owners, Transportation Groups and concerned citizens. Also present were Hon. Glenn D. Bacala, Chairman of the Committee on Tourism, Agriculture, Environmental Management and CLUP. Hon. Timothy N. Pongad Jr., member of the said Committee as well as Hon. Dan Evert C. Sokoken, Chairman of the Committee on Appropriations, Ways and Means.

Among the issues discussed was the capacity of the twin peaks, Mount Kopapey and Mount Parutan especially during peak seasons. And another was the trail leading to both the mountains on whether they would allow it to be concreted or leaving it as is.
