Bypassing the heavily-worn tourist spots for the remote and sacred east of Coron Island, they'll enter a lagoon that once commanded Silence on Pain of Punishment. They'll glide along the magical "time-tunnels" -- some 15 kms of pulsating, winding waterways, cut deep into the eroded towering limestone cliffs -- emerging hours later, but hypnotized to the belief they only entered the cave-like system moments earlier. Ah, what wonders await the intrepid travellers as they explore Indigenous owned and controlled Coron Island!
