To all customers, especially to travelers, like myself.
I would like to voice this out as a business owner and a customer.
This GLOBAL crisis is LIKE NO OTHER crisis the world has ever faced in the past.
And if you will widely open your eyes, you will see that MANY BUSINESSES are struggling, both small and big companies– in the travel industry, the AIRLINE COMPANIES, HOTEL CHAINS, and RESTAURANTS…
In my company, we are blessed because we are able to diversify our BUSINESS, and still able to operate fully and serve our people full-time.
Anyway, what I am HOPING for is that, those TRAVELLERS who have booked through travel agents will be more POLITE and RESPECTFUL considering the situation.
Paying an amount doesn’t give anyone the right to be rude and maltreat others.
Know that, when YOU BOOK YOUR FLIGHTS and when you PAY, it’s automatically sent and paid directly to the AIRLINES/HOTELS.
A few hundred, if not less than a hundred, the agent has charged for the service rendered when you booked your flight or whatever service, is never gonna be good enough for him/her to receive all the STRESS and ANXIETY.
We all have our FRUSTRATIONS, but there is always a better way of handling situations, and I hope we all choose that path- the better one. 🙂
If you booked through an agent who still SPEAKS to you, listens to you, accommodate you, and NOT IGNORE you, be grateful– meaning your AGENT is reliable and is doing that extra mile to provide the after-sale service.
Just like our Travel Agents in the company, our customer support team, too— they do their best to accommodate everyone…
Whilst many of my friends who booked directly to the airline companies, most of them haven’t heard from anyone at all, for LINES are all busy, or cannot be reached.
However, at this difficult time, if REFUND is what you choose, the waiting game is on because WE DON’T HAVE YOUR MONEY from your BOOKINGS— we are also just waiting for the AIRLINE COMPANIES to refund the money so we can refund you.
And if we HARASS the customer service of the AIRLINES/SUPPLIERS, just as how you harass us, I don’t think it is motivating and can do any good.
At this point in time– let’s choose to be kind!
One thing I can guarantee is that— in our company, we are here to assist our Agents and Customers, even when we don’t also hear from our SUPPLIERS for any feedback…
The MAIN ADVICE of the AIRLINES is to PUT it as a TRAVEL VOUCHER, which you can use in the future..
Again, we understand you may need cash, the cash is not with your TRAVEL AGENTS, it’s at the END SUPPLIER–
But if you could only consider this in your thought, that by choosing the VOUCHERS, something you can use in the future without depreciating the value of what you paid for— YOU ARE SOMEHOW HELPING THE BUSINESSES and the JOBS of people come back to normal sooner than later.

Your MONEY is NOT a GOOD ENOUGH REASON for you to be RUDE, UNKIND, and IMPOLITE.
So, again. let’s be KIND…
