MT. KUPAPEY X MT FATO

From Manila, we took a long, winding drivr farther than we expected to reach the quiet mountain village of Maligcong. And what waited for us? Something unforgettable. We hiked under pine trees, through peaceful trails, and by sunrise, we stood at the summit of Mt. Kupapey staring down at the Maligcong Rice Terraces in full, perfect view. It was like seeing a painting come to life. Then we hiked to Mt. Fato, where giant boulders and calm winds made us pause, breathe, and just be. This trip wasn’t just long it was worth every mile, every step, every moment.

We climbed six mountains in just one day and yes, it was as crazy as it sounds. From Mt. Pack to Mt. Tayawan, we hiked through pine forests, mossy trails, endless fog, and leg-crushing ascents. Every peak brought something new: clouds that swallowed us, trees that looked enchanted, and moments we wanted to quit but didn’t. We laughed, screamed, questioned our life choices, and somehow kept moving. It wasn’t just a hike it was a test of limits, a bonding experience, and a reminder that the best views really do come after the hardest climbs.
