Everywhere you go, you see giant Christmas trees with elaborate decorations though Thais don’t celebrate Christmas as it is a predominantly Buddhist country, yet they do it for the festive feel and encourage locals and tourists alike to spend and stir up economic activities.

I must admit, I am not pious but I maintain a personal relationship with the creator. I can offer a prayer anywhere and anytime.

On my travels, I always visit churches, temples, masjids or mosques because i am fascinated with the architecture. Just like how my eyes wondered on the marvels of Ascension Cathedral in Almaty, Kazakhstan 🇰🇿.

The Ascension Cathedral (Russian: Вознесенский собор Vosnesenskiy sobor, Kazakh: Вознесенск кафедралы шіркеуі Voznesensk kafedraly shirkeýi), also known as Zenkov Cathedral, is a Russian Orthodox cathedral located in Panfilov Park in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Completed in 1907, the cathedral is made out of wood but without nails. It stands 56 meters tall, and is claimed to be the second tallest wooden church in the world.

An afternoon stroll 🚶 at Chatuchak Park blooming with sunflowers 🌻. It is one of the best parks in Bangkok, accessible via MRT Blue Line (Chatuchak Park) and BTS Skytrain Sukhumvit Line (Mochit Station).
