The Environmental Management Bureau has revoked the Environmental Compliance Certificate of Philippine Sanjia Steel Corporation in Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental, citing the presence of radioactive materials and breaches of the Clean Water Act and Clean Air Act. The order comes weeks after authorities raided the facility on May 15. A cease and desist order is now in effect against the company.
