For Chinese Nationals in Manila with PAL Cancelled Flights

05 Feb 2020

In compliance with the Philippine President's directive banning foreign travel from China to the Philippines and banning Filipino travel to China, all Philippine Airline flights to/from BEIJING, XIAMEN, SHANGHAI, GUANGZHOU, JINJIANG, HONG KONG and MACAU are cancelled from February 2 until February 29, 2020.

Affected passengers may refund their tickets or rebook their flight until June 30, 2020 with refund fee and rebooking fee service fees waived once the travel bans are lifted and we reinstate our flights to and from mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau.

Expectant Mother passenger Airline Restrictions:

✈Philippine Airlines

1. Expectant Mothers Information Sheet (EMIS) Form Part 1 is properly accomplished.

2. For those between the sixth and eighth month (24-32 weeks) of pregnancy. (DOCTORS APPROVAL/MEDCERT)

✈Cebu Pacific

1. Thirty-four (34) weeks and beyond, are required to present a medical certificate with the notation "Fit to Travel" and signed by a physician

2. Expectant mothers must fill out all three (3) copies of the Passenger Handling Form, to be presented upon check-in.

✈Air Asia

1. Pregnancy up to 27 weeks (inclusive) AirAsia X Limited Liability Statement at the time of check-in to absolve AirAsia / AirAsia X against any liabilities arising therefrom.

2. Pregnancy between 28 weeks to 34 weeks (inclusive): Except on flights to/from the United States, Guest must: - Submit an approved doctor's medical certificate. - Submit a doctor's medical certificate confirming the number of weeks of pregnancy and the certificate shall be dated not more than thirty (30) days from either the scheduled outbound or the scheduled inbound flight departure date as the case may be. - Sign AirAsia / AirAsia X Limited Liability Statement at the time of check-in to absolve AirAsia / AirAsia X against any liabilities arising therefrom.

3. Pregnancy 35 weeks and above carriage not permitted on AirAsia / AirAsia
