Bangkok Flood Update & Airport Transit Guide
✈ Airport Travel (Don Mueang & Suvarnabhumi):
• Flight Status: Both airports are fully operational, and flights are running.
• Don Mueang Airport (DMK): The terminal is dry, but Vibhavadi Rangsit Road (Inbound before Kasetsart Univ.) faces severe gridlock (100% traffic standstill) due to deep high- water spots. Some airport gates (Gates 3, 5, 6, and 7) have localized flooding. Taking the Don Mueang Tollway directly into the terminal is highly recommended. Allow at least 2–3 hours of extra travel time.
• Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK): The airport area is unaffected. However, nearby low- lying routes like Lat Krabang remain deeply flooded. Taking the Airport Rail Link or the Motorway (Route 7) is highly recommended.
