Philippine Airlines (PAL) confirms that all PAL aircraft scheduled to operate commercial flights and covered by the recent Airbus and European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) directive on the mandatory Elevator and Aileron Computer (ELAC) software update have successfully completed the required upgrade.

Our technical and engineering teams worked swiftly and meticulously to ensure full compliance within the prescribed timeframe, prioritizing the highest standards of safety and reliability.

With the update completed, we are now working to normalize flight schedules at the soonest possible time. We continue to coordinate closely with aviation authorities and airport partners to minimize any remaining operational impact.

Cancelled Flights Due to Typhoon Tino
As of November 3, 2025; 7:00 PM

Typhoon Tino (international name: Kalmaegi) is forecast to impact several parts of the country, bringing heavy rainfall and strong winds.

Following the latest public advisories issued by PAGASA on Typhoon Tino, we anticipate disruptions to our flight operations at several airports in the coming days. We remain in close coordination with airport authorities and ground handling partners to ensure passenger and colleague safety.

1. Free Rebooking

Rebook without fare difference for travel up to thirty (30) days from original flight date. The fare difference will apply if the travel period is beyond thirty (30) days from the original flight date.

2. Travel Fund

Store the amount in a virtual CEB wallet and use this to either book a new flight or pay for add-ons (example: baggage allowance, seat selection, etc.)

3. Refund

Full refund of your ticket.

CEB strongly advises its passengers not to proceed to the airport unless they have confirmed bookings for flights which are currently still planned to operate.

This is a developing situation. As such, some flight changes may take place as the storm passes. Please monitor the status of your flights via https://www.cebupacificair.com/flight-status or on the CEB mobile app and update your contact details via the Manage Booking portal https://www.cebupacificair.com/manage-booking to receive email and SMS notifications on flight reminders.

To help manage these disruptions, CEB is also offering flexible options, which include free rebooking and a travel fund, to passengers who wish to postpone their flights to and from the following destinations:
