With hearts full of gratitude, the Municipal Tourism Office of Cataingan extends our sincerest appreciation to the Provincial Government of Masbate, through the leadership of Gov. Atty. Richard Kho, for granting us the opportunity to participate in one of the province’s grandest celebrations, the Kasadyaan sa Masbate (Festival of Festivals) 2026.
This achievement would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our Municipal Mayor, Hon. Alvin C. Adoptante, and the guidance of our Vice Mayor, Hon. Philip Sonny K. Cabataña V, along with all Sangguniang Bayan Members. Our gratitude also goes to Municipal Administrator Atty. Felimon Majuca III, Budget Officer Ma’am Gina Tamayo, Municipal Accountant Ma’am Ma. Britta Rejuso, Municipal Treasurer Ma’am Desiree Lim, Municipal Engineer Engr. Sammy Lim, and all Department Heads for their commitment and assistance.
We thank Dr. Richard C. Ching, College Department Head, and Sir Agosto Aliño, College Instructor, for their guidance from preparation to the final performance. To our responders, led by Ma’am Venus Rojo, and the Incident Command System under Sir Jhovel Carocha and Sir Darwen Saladas, and to all the responders, your dedication ensured the safety and welfare of our delegation.
Special recognition goes to the Cataingan National High School Drum and Lyre Corps, headed by Coaches Mrs. Joan Lunas-Pocong and Mr. Erwin Pocong, under the leadership of Principal Dr. Emiliano Bulanon, for their outstanding performance. Likewise, to the Cataingan Municipal College Drum and Lyre Corps and all instrumentalists; your music brought energy and pride to our presentation.
Special thanks also to the logistics team chaired by Sir Jhovel Carocha and Mr. Noel R. Mapula, whose planning and coordination were critical to the smooth ex*****on of our activities.
To our Festival Queen, Ms. Leah Vie Libay, and her Highness, your grace and confidence truly represented the spirit of Cataingan.
We also honor our dance master Dante “Patricia” Gallego and visual supervising artist Rustico “Russel” Mission, whose leadership and creativity shaped every choreography and visual detail, elevating our performance to excellence.
To our talented artists - dancers, singers, and performers, as well as those who contributed in tailoring, painting, and welding props, special thanks to Dr. Elsie B. Dadula, Assistant Professor IV, for her tailoring expertise. Your artistry brought our vision to life.
To Mr. Mark Anthony Delfin, thank you for technical assistance and lending the sound amplifier and speakers. To Inn Finite Hotel, Badiang, Cataingan, Masbate, thank you for lending musical instruments. To Mr. Ciano Mahusay, your videography of the introduction video for the contingent contest captured the spirit and identity of Tribu Bagat Dagat beautifully.
We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Office of the Municipal Health Officer, headed by Dr. Czar Thomas Bulanon, the CMC Red Cross volunteers led by Sir Jasper Silo with guidance from Sir Inocencio Yurag, College Instructor, the Cataingan Municipal Police Station, the CMC ROTC, and all uniformed personnel for their support, discipline, and service throughout the event.
To volunteers assisting our Festival Queen, especially in hair and make-up, and to those supporting our dance masters, your behind-the-scenes efforts were invaluable. To our food preparation team, thank you for ensuring everyone was nourished and cared for.
To our fellow members of the Municipal Tourism Office, and to all individuals and partners whose names may not have been mentioned, your contributions were vital to the success of this endeavor.
This achievement is more than a performance,it is a testament to unity, culture, and the unwavering spirit of Cataingan.
