We have recently concluded our training entitled ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฟ-๐๐ป๐ฐ๐น๐๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐ฆ๐ธ๐ถ๐น๐น๐ ๐๐ป๐ต๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐ง๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ป๐ถ๐ป๐ด (๐๐๐ฆ๐๐ง) ๐ผ๐ป ๐๐ผ๐ป๐๐ฒ๐บ๐ฝ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐๐ฒ๐๐๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ต๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ผ๐ด๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฝ๐ต๐ last April 14-17, 2026.
This is part of the continuing training series leading to the 2026 Manaragat Festival this August as organized by the City Government of Catbalogan headed by City Mayor Dexter Uy through the Catbalogan City Tourism, Culture, Arts & Information Office (CTCAIO), and supported by the Catbalogan City Tourism Council (CTC) and the Local Culture & the Arts Council of Catbalogan City (LCAC).
Said training coincides with this month's celebration on National Literature Month (NLM) and Filipino Food Month (FFM) and participants are cultural coordinators, contemporary dancers, choreographers, dance masters, and cultural advocates with the purpose of equipping them in their repertoire especially in their cultural presentations and in the Festival Showdown this August.
From the dramaturgy training and visual arts forum last February 2026 together with the stage production and scenography last May 2025, literary performance training last April 2025, the costume-making training last March 2025, and the theatrical performance training last February 2026, this training is set to level-up their skills and also encourage them to replicate and share their learned knowledge and techniques to their respective schools, dance groups, and clubs -- one training at a time.
