San Joaquin Church
Located in San Joaquin, Iloilo, this historic church was built in 1869 during the Spanish colonial period. It’s known for its unique front wall (pediment) that shows a battle scene called the Battle of Tetuan—the only one of its kind in the Philippines.
Guimbal Church
The church showcases Baroque architecture with thick walls and detailed carvings, reflecting Spanish influence. Despite wars and earthquakes, it remains well-preserved and continues to be a symbol of the town’s rich history and faith.
Tigbauan Church
The church is known for its Latin American-inspired façade and beautiful mosaic interiors made of colorful local stones. It also played a historical role as the site of the first Jesuit seminary in the Philippines.
Arevalo Church
The church is home to the oldest Santo Niño (Holy Child Jesus) image in the Philippines, which is deeply venerated by locals. Though the original structure was destroyed during World War II, the church has been rebuilt and continues to be an important place of worship and tradition.
Molo Church
also called St. Anne Parish Church, is in Molo, Iloilo City. It was built in 1831 and is famous for its Gothic design and for having all-female saints inside—earning it the nickname “The Feminist Church.
Jaro Church
Jaro Cathedral, is a famous church in Iloilo City. It was built in 1874 and has a bell tower across the street, which is rare. The church is known for the Our Lady of the Candles image, crowned by Pope John Paul II in 1981
Miag-ao Church
Miagao Church, also known as Santo Tomas de Villanueva Church, was built in 1797 and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It’s famous for its unique Baroque design with local touches, like the coconut tree carving on its façade.

Provincial Capitol Building & Lagoon
The Negros Occidental Provincial Capitol is the official seat of the governor of the province and it also serves as the official landmark of the park. You can see locals doing various activities here such as jogging and zumba.
Balay Negrense
Also known as Victor Fernandez Gaston Ancestral House, Balay Negrense is one of the many history-filled museums in Bacolod. It was the first established museum in the province and it showcases the late 19th-century lifestyle.
Ramon Hofileña Ancestral Home
Located at Cinco de Noviembre Street, Silay City, the Hofileña Ancestral House is home to the Philippine's rarest and finest art collection. This heritage house was the residence of the late Manuel Severino Hofileña.
Silay Pro Cathedral and Mini Ruins
Before being declared as a pro-cathedral, this church was formerly known as San Diego Parish Church or St. Didacus of Alcala (locally called San Diego de Alcala) Parish Church. It boasts a Romanesque-style and now has a grotto with a mini-chapel that serves as a prayer room.
Cinco De Noviembre Mark Point
The Cinco de Noviembre Marker in Silay City where Farmacia Locsin used to be located. It commemorates the bravery of the Negrenses who fought against the Spanish rule.
Bernardino Jalandoni Museum
Located inside the Jalandoni Ancestral House in Silay City, Jalandoni Ancestral House in Silay City was structured in 1908. It is owned by one of the prominent locals of Silay – Don Bernardino Jalandoni.
Balay ni Tana Dicang
Standing at the heart of Talisay, Negros Occidental is Balay ni Tana Dicang, the ancestral home of the Lizares and Alunan clan. This house lets you see the lavish lifestyle of the rich and famous back then.
El Ideal Bakery (Shopping Center)
El Ideal can be found in the Cesar Lacson Locsin Ancestral House, a National Historical Institute certified heritage structure. It started its operation way back from 1920 and specializes in homemade bread and cookies which its recipes are handed down from the previous generations.
The Ruins
Dubbed as the "Taj Mahal of the Philippines", The Ruins is a mansion built in 1900s by Don Mariano Ledesma in memory of his late wife Maria Braga Lacson. This architectural wonder keeps on leaving its visitors in awe not only because of its magnificent facade but also its tragic history.
