"TEMPLE OF LEAH"

It is unquestionably a spot worth looking. Located in the Busay hills. It's a beautiful location where it offers a breathtaking & spectacular view of the city. This is also ornate Roman-style temple that was dedicated to Leah Villa Albino-Adarna in 2012.

🤔How to get there:
📌BY HABALHABAL: Ride a motorcycle (maximum of two people per bike) near or around Lahug's JY Square Mall. It would cost just $100per person, round trip, or $150 for two people. If you want a ride back from the city, you may have to pay more and plan ahead.

📌BY TAXI/GRAB: There is a maximum of four people per vehicle. Some drivers may be fine with it, while others may not. Since the path is a little steep, some will ask for more, so be understanding and negotiate well. The cost is estimated to be between $200 and $250 per way from the city (Ayala Center).

📌BY CAR: If you want to have peace of mind and not have to think about getting home, this is the best choice. The road is concrete and well-maintained, but it is steep, so bringing your own car is safe. There is also parking available. Simply use Waze or Google Maps to get there and set your destination to "Temple of Leah."

📍 Exact location: Barangay Loay, Toledo City, Cebu

BY PUBLIC: If you’re commuting, from the highway or CIT University or Punta Princesa, take any jeepney or multicab going to Tabunok/Minglanilla/Naga. Ask the driver or conductor first if it will pass by Tabunok.

From there, ride a habal-habal that can take you to Lake Bensis. Estimated fare is around ₱200-250 per head (roundtrip). They can take you to the church near Lake Bensis and the travel time is roughly 30 minutes. Upon arriving to the church, you can ask the locals for directions towards Lake Bensis.

BY PRIVATE: If you have your own private vehicle/motorcycle, you can use Google Maps or Waze and search for “Lake Bensis” in toledo

"MARAVELLA WHITE BEACH"

Maravilla Beach Park, also known as Maravillosa Beach Park, is arguably one of Northern Cebu's best beaches. The white sand beach of Maravilla is ideal for a short getaway with family and friends. Apart from that, it's just a three-hour drive from Cebu City. I admire how they continue to preserve the beach's natural beauty. Currently, there's more to see in Tabuelan, so, if you happen to be visiting MARAVELLA WHITE BEACH, don't miss out on one of nature's most relaxing experiences.

🤔How to get there:
📌For approximately P110/each, take a Ceres bus (or any other bus) from Cebu City to Tabuelan, Cebu for 3 hours (depends on the city traffic). Then you have the option of dropping off at the Tabuelan's Public Market and doing some last-minute shopping.

📌Then, for P50, hire a motorbike or motorcycle to take you to Maravilla Beach Park from the Public Market. You can also head straight to Brgy. Maravilla, which is where the beach park is (you can ask the conductor of the bus to drop you off at the location). Following that, you could walk for about 3-5 minutes from the highway to the beach.

⏰When is the Best time to visit:
The best time to visit Maravilla Beach is during the week. This s as beautiful as the other beaches in northern Cebu. Expect a sea of people if you go on weekends, but the good news is that there is no entrance fee and the beach can easily accommodate you.

Casual dress (They could wear anything as long as they are comfortable and looks nice and fashionable with what they wear.

🚤Take a Ferry Boat – A ferry ride from Pier 3 to Lapu-Lapu City is available. After arriving at the port in Lapu-Lapu, proceed to the intersection where multi-cabs depart for Cordova and exit at the Cordova Municipal Hall. Take a tricycle ride from the municipal hall to the Cebu Happy Museum.

🚌Invest in a van-for-hire – You will board a van bound for Cordova at the SM V-Hire terminal. Take a tricycle to the Cebu Happy World Museum from the V-hire terminal in Cordova.

🚕Taking a taxi is the easiest way to get to the Cebu Happy World Museum, but it is also the most expensive. You may request that the driver drop you off at the museum. Tell the driver to go to the Cordova Municipal Hall and turn left at the intersection near the municipal hall if he doesn't know where it is. On the left side of the lane, the museum can be found.
