SAFETY ADVISORY
REOPENING OF BADIAN CANYONEERING ADVENTURE & KAWASAN FALLS

Following a reassessment conducted by the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), we are pleased to inform the public that the Badian Canyoneering Adventure and Kawasan Falls will reopen today, July 31, 2026, at 12:00 Noon.

The latest assessment confirms that the water level is returning to normal, making it safe to gradually resume tourism activities. Visitors may once again enjoy the attraction while adhering to all established safety measures.

All guests are reminded to strictly follow the instructions of accredited canyoneering guides and tourism personnel at all times. The safety and well-being of our visitors, guides, and stakeholders remain our highest priority.

The LGU Badian, through the MDRRMO and the Municipal Tourism Office, will continue to closely monitor weather and river conditions. Should conditions change, appropriate safety measures will be implemented immediately.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and cooperation.
