NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC
REOPENING OF CANYONEERING ACTIVITY AND KAWASAN FALLS

Following the improvement in weather conditions and completion of safety assessments, Canyoneering activities and access to Kawasan Falls will officially reopen at 9:00 AM today, July 20, 2025, after the successful clearing operations conducted in the area.

All accredited canyoneering guides are required to participate in the clearing operations prior to the reopening to ensure that the trail is safe and free from hazards.

We thank everyone for their patience and cooperation during the temporary closure. Let us all continue to prioritize safety and follow proper protocols.

Due to the heavy rains, the water level has risen, and the river currently exhibits a muddy appearance as assessed by BADIAN MDRRMO. For the safety of everyone, the Canyoneering activity and Kawasan Falls is temporarily closed today (July 18, 2025) until further notice.

The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) is closely monitoring the river conditions to ensure public safety. For updates and concerns you may contact BADIAN MDRRMO through their FB page.
