TOP STORY: Olango Island gets 24/7 electricity to lure investors

Lapu-Lapu City Mayor Junard "Ahong" Chan led in the ceremonial switch-on of the 3,600 kilowatts power plant in Olango Island yesterday. Chan said that this would mean that the island will now have 24/7 electricity after the installation of the power plant that initially operates at 1,000 kwh.

“Modaghan na unya ang mga investors nga moanhi dinhi. Ang atong mga negosyante diri dili na mahadlok mag negosyo kay naa man tay kuryente ug sobra pa gani sa atong konsumo sa kuryente sa matag adlaw,” said Chan as interviewed via his page.
