Blu Range Tours started as a home-based travel agency conceptualized with the help of close friends who’ve already been in the tourism industry, following the indefinite hold of new Grab, Uber & Uhop (TNVS - transportation network vehicle services) applications in the Philippines. But little did founders Hannah and Cyrus know that this fallback business is their dream come true.
Every detour leads to a paved highway indeed! Blu Range Tours is actually a perfect fit to their passions and experiences. Hannah is an HR practitioner by profession and a tech-savvy marketer by heart who, since young, has been selling her mother’s cakes & pastries, reselling other snacks, school supplies, soaps, etc. to her classmates while also very much active in organizing events in school, in the community, and in the events management industry as well.
Cyrus, a seafarer by profession, is a true blue gallivanter who is a fun lover. He loves to travel around the world and learn from different cultures. He has a passion for history having been able to volunteer in big historical events in Cebu even when he was a student. He is also very fond of cars, motorbikes, ships and planes. The last being the only vehicle he is yet to learn how to maneuver (well aside from a rocket!).
The name Blu Range Tours comes from three words - the colors Blue & Orange and the word Range. Blue is the color of the sky and sea. It is also strongly associated with tranquility and calmness. Orange, on the other hand, combines the energy of red and the happiness of yellow. It is associated with joy, sunshine, and the tropics. Orange represents enthusiasm, fascination and happiness. Range could also mean to travel or wander over a wide area. Blue, Orange and Range strongly symbolize the tours and travel experience we offer - thrilling adventures all around the tropical islands of the Philippines that are hassle-free at the same time!
