GET READY, CEBU NUSTAR RUN 2026 IS ON! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Cebu, it’s time to lace up! NUSTAR Resort is bringing runners, fitness enthusiasts, families, and the community together for its inaugural NUSTAR Run 2026 on August 23, 2026.

Whether you’re a beginner looking for a fun first run or an experienced runner aiming for a new personal best, there’s a distance for everyone:

🏃 1KM — ₱1,100
🏃 3KM — ₱1,200
🏃 6KM — ₱1,400
🏃 10KM — ₱1,500
🏃 16KM — ₱1,600
🏃 21KM — ₱1,800

WHAT’S INCLUDED?

Participants will receive a race bib, singlet, drawstring bag, and exclusive race items.

🏅 Finishers will receive a finisher medal and meal.
👕 16KM & 21KM runners will also receive a finisher shirt.
🎁 Get a chance to win exciting raffle prizes, including a Yamaha motorcycle!

MORE THAN JUST A RUN

NUSTAR Run 2026 is part of In Full Balance, NUSTAR Resort Cebu’s month-long wellness campaign celebrating movement, mindfulness, and a healthier lifestyle.

On race day, expect an energetic atmosphere with Glow Zones, live DJs, prizes, and other activities to keep the excitement going.

The event will also support the Kapwa Ko Mahal Ko Foundation through the Universal Cultural Foundation, Inc. (UCFI), giving participants the opportunity to run for a meaningful cause.

📍 FORT SAN PEDRO, CEBU CITY 🇵🇭

More than a fort it is a living reminder of Cebu’s long and complicated history.

Located beside Plaza Independencia, Fort San Pedro traces its beginnings to the Spanish establishment in Cebu in 1565. The fort evolved over time, eventually becoming the triangular stone and mortar structure documented in an official report in 1739.

Its three bastions La Concepción, San Ignacio de Loyola, and San Miguel once formed an important part of Cebu’s coastal defenses.

The fort also witnessed the dramatic changes that shaped the Philippines. On December 29, 1898, Cebuano revolutionaries captured the fort during the struggle against Spanish colonial rule.

Today, its old walls remain standing not simply as a tourist attraction, but as a place where visitors can see layers of Cebu’s past preserved in stone.
