PNP ARRESTS 3 HVIs; OVER ₱38 MILLION WORTH OF ILLEGAL DRUGS SEIZED IN PAMPANGA BUY-BUST
A coordinated anti-illegal drugs operation led by police operatives early Tuesday morning resulted in the arrest of three high value individuals (HVIs) and the seizure of a substantial quantity of suspected illegal drugs during a buy-bust operation in Brgy. Del Pilar, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
Operatives of Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit 3 (RPDEU 3), in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region 3 and supported by local drug enforcement units, successfully implemented a validated intelligence-driven operation that led to the arrest of two male suspects and one female suspect.
Confiscated during the operation were approximately four kilograms of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of ₱27.2 million and more than two kilograms of suspected co***ne hydrochloride valued at around ₱11.3 million.
Authorities also recovered marked buy-bust money, boodle money, cellular phones, identification cards, drug paraphernalia including a digital weighing scale and packaging materials, as well as a motor vehicle allegedly used in the illegal transaction.
The successful operation reflects the continued strengthening of intelligence-based law enforcement efforts under the Philippine National Police’s Focused Agenda, particularly the Enhanced Managing Police Operations strategy. It likewise supports the public safety direction of the administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. in sustaining safer and drug-free communities nationwide.
PNP Chief, Police General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., lauded the operating units for their swift and coordinated action, stressing the organization’s firm resolve to sustain pressure against drug syndicates.
“We will continue to intensify our operations against those who persist in destroying lives through illegal drugs. The PNP remains steadfast—hindi kami titigil hangga’t may mga nagbabalak sirain ang kinabukasan ng ating kabataan at komunidad,” he said.
He added that every successful operation reflects the discipline and commitment of police personnel on the ground, reinforcing public trust through consistent and lawful enforcement.
The arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the RPDEU3 Office at Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga for documentation and proper disposition.
The PNP reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to intensify anti-illegal drugs operations nationwide, guided by the principle of “Bagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas: Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat at Nararamdaman.”
