The Columbio Municipal Tourism Development Planning Project kicked off with a crucial Orientation and Preliminary Meeting attended by key stakeholders, including the SB Member on Tourism, Hon. Zahara Gin Paglas and Hon. Mary Ann Llorito with Hon. Abdulkarim Tocao, Susan S. Bancuyo (Tourism Officer Designate), Lauro V. Domondon, Jr. (MENRO), DAR, and various Tourism Stakeholders.

SOX Tourism Circuit National Validation for La Palmera and Pangadilan Falls & Rock Formation happened last November 29, 2022. This was headed by Suzane S. Bancuyo together with her staff.

This program is in line with the Department of Tourism Region XII developing the SOX Tourism Circuits in the region. One of the municipalities included in the circuit is the Municipality of Columbio. From November 27 to December 2, 2022 was the National Validation of SOX Tourism Circuits. Last November 29, 2022 the Personnel from the Department of Tourism Central Office, particularly the Department of Tourism - Office of Product and Market Development together with the invited social media influencers, content creators and tour operators from Metro Manila conducted the validation of the SOX Tourism Circuits in Columbio, Sultan Kudarat. This is to further develop and enhance the sixteen (16) tourism circuits in the region.
