Cuatro Islas, composed of four islands, is surrounded by crystalline water that changes color from deep blue to turquoise green and is teeming with marine life.

The islands of Digyo, Mahaba and Apid belong to Inopacan, while Himokilan Island is part of Hindang. All have been declared Protected Seascape and Landscape by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources on April 23, 2000.

El Nido is a Philippine municipality on Palawan island. It’s known for white-sand beaches, coral reefs and as the gateway to the Bacuit archipelago, a group of islands with steep karst cliffs. Miniloc Island is famed for the clear waters of its Small and Big lagoons. Nearby Shimizu Island has fish-filled waters. The area has many dive sites, including Dilumacad Island’s long tunnel leading to an underwater cavern.

This cluster of islands is off the tip of the Palawan Island is full of dramatic rock formations and surrounded by bright blue waters. There are a ton of things to do in El Nido so give yourself a week in El Nido if you can.
