After suspending the visa-free privilege for Philippine passport holders earlier this month, Taiwan is now allowing Filipinos to travel to the country visa-free starting September 29.

The good news was confirmed by the Bureau of Consular Affairs under Taiwan’s foreign affairs ministry.

Japan is lifting a ban on tourist visa requirements and removing the limit on daily arrivals starting October 2022 in an effort to promote tourism.

Japan will not require visas for short-term travellers from the United States and certain other countries, and will scrap the daily entry cap of 50,000 people. Nikkei reported on Thursday.
