The three-day training under 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐄𝐂 concluded with discussions facilitated by 𝐌𝐫. 𝐄𝐝𝐫𝐮𝐞𝐥 𝐅. 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐧, Project Coordinator, focusing on the 𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙙𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝘾𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙙 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙋𝙤𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘾𝙤𝙙𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙩 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙝𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙨, 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙘𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙤𝙙𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙝𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨.

Participants from various tourism-related establishments and members of the Local Council for the Protection of Children (LCPC) actively contributed insights and recommendations toward formulating a proposed Code of Conduct for Child-Safe and Child-Friendly Business Practices.

The training culminated in the awarding of Certificates of Completion to participants in recognition of their participation and commitment to strengthening child protection in the tourism sector.

Through this initiative, the Municipality of Dauis, in partnership with Bidsiliw Foundation through Project CONEC, continues to advance responsible tourism and promote a safe, protective, and child-friendly destination for all.🩵🩵

The second day of the training under 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐄𝐂 focused on strengthening child safeguarding practices and promoting child-friendly tourism businesses in the Municipality of Dauis, Bohol.

𝐌𝐫. 𝐄𝐝𝐫𝐮𝐞𝐥 𝐅. 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐧, Project Coordinator, facilitated discussions on 𝘾𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙙 𝙎𝙖𝙛𝙚𝙜𝙪𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙄𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝘾𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙙 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙄𝙨𝙨𝙪𝙚𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙈𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝘿𝙖𝙪𝙞𝙨 𝘾𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙙 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙤𝙘𝙤𝙡. The workshop also served as a platform for gathering insights and recommendations for the 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙖 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙚𝙙 𝘾𝙤𝙙𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙩 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝘾𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙙-𝙎𝙖𝙛𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘾𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙙-𝙁𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙡𝙮 𝘽𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙋𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙨. Once developed and adopted by individual establishments, the Code of Conduct is intended to guide tourism businesses in implementing responsible practices that protect children from harm, abuse, and exploitation.

Through this initiative, the Municipality of Dauis continues to promote a tourism environment that upholds child protection, encourages responsible business practices, and supports the development of a safe and child-friendly destination for residents and visitors alike.
