Hello family and friends. My sister, Becky, and I (Zack) have been living in Davao City Philippines for 9 months now. We have adjusted very well in our new home and community and love that we see our mom's family often. I think they are getting use to us and love us. Mom was telling us that growing up they never had a pet dog and was not used to dogs living inside the house with them. You should see their reaction when they see our mom kissing and hugging us.

Anyway, as always, I have appointed myself and I take very seriously my role as elder brother to Becky and I am her protector and would always have her back. She can be strong-willed at times and so I have to keep an eye on her.

We are so excited to experience our first Christmas here in the Philippines! They start celebrating Christmas here in September!

We now live in Davao City, Philippines. We love our new home. We can run around the yard and we have the garage all to ourselves. Mom doesn’t park the SUV inside but out in the street so we have a lot more room. Oh, oh, oh, above all, we really love our viewing corner where we can look outside.

We love the mornings here because it is cooler! Dad and Mom usually drink their coffee outside and boy, we get to run around, check on our neighborhood cats and dogs and see what they are up to. Well, this particular morning we didn’t even see this cat propped up on the fence silently watching us! When we spotted him or her (don’t know which), we got all excited! First time we were this close to a cat! But he/she was not in a mood to be neighborly. Oh well!

We have been here in our new country for almost 3 weeks now. Dad and Mom always say to us to be patient as we are still not in our permanent new home. It is okay here, at least my sister Becky has a grassy yard to run and run and run. She has so much energy, she makes my head spin! Me? I love the cool cement floor. I hug it all the time because I am hot! I love to sit or lay down too in front of the fan or the machine that blows cool air. I love those things!
