Balancing motherhood and a career as an Operations Supervisor at iQor is no small feat, but it’s a journey filled with motivation, growth, and empowerment. For many single moms, like myself, the desire to provide a stable, fulfilling life for our children fuels every effort. Knowing that my work contributes to their bright future keeps me going, reminding me of the lessons I want to teach them — resilience, hard work, balance, and growth.
In my 7 years at iQor, the supportive leadership team made all the difference. They understand the challenges of being a parent and I feel safe speaking up and taking time out for important family moments. On that note, one experience I will never forget was when my child had a big school event during a busy workday. I reached out, explained the situation, and was met with a warm-hearted "Go be there — we’ve got your back." My team stepped up, and their support allowed me to be present for my child and lead with confidence.
A valuable lesson I’ve learned is that perfection isn’t necessary. Some days lean more heavily on work, some on family, and that’s okay. Giving myself grace and focusing on what truly matters has honed my ability to prioritize and stay grounded. iQor’s structured environment helps me manage my responsibilities with clarity and purpose.
Seeing my 2 kids learn from my actions, growing into strong leaders themselves, inspires me to lead with heart and integrity. I want them to see that success isn’t about having everything figured out, but about showing up with determination and compassion.
Being a mom requires many skills like multitasking, patience, and problem-solving — skills that the fast-paced BPO industry instills in its employees. My life experience is a strength, not a setback. Finding a company like iQor that values its people, offers flexible schedules, and fosters a positive work culture makes all the difference.
What makes me proud to be an is knowing I can lead with strength, nurture with love, and show others that motherhood and career success can go hand in hand. Balancing both worlds isn’t always easy, but with the right support and mindset, it’s absolutely possible — and incredibly rewarding.
