To clarify the news circulating: only ๐Œ๐š๐ฅ๐š๐ฐ๐ข and ๐™๐š๐ฆ๐›๐ข๐š are required to post bonds when applying for a U.S. tourist visa.

Starting August 20, 2025, citizens of ๐Œ๐š๐ฅ๐š๐ฐ๐ข and ๐™๐š๐ฆ๐›๐ข๐š applying for B1/B2 U.S. visas may need to pay a $5,000โ€“$15,000 bond as part of a new pilot program.
