Our JIB Senior High School students came together to celebrate World Tourism Day 2026 with the theme, “Digital Agenda and Artificial Intelligence to Redesign Tourism: Innovating Journeys. Connecting Communities. Sustaining the Future.”

Through various competitions and activities, our students showcased their talents, creativity, teamwork, and confidence. From innovative ideas and engaging presentations to exciting performances and creative challenges, every moment reflected their passion for learning and their growing potential in the tourism and hospitality industry.

The celebration also provided an opportunity for students to explore how technology, innovation, and collaboration can help shape more meaningful and sustainable tourism experiences.

For Marilyn Lastimado, a 4th year Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management student, JIB’s Study for Work (S4W) program became more than just an opportunity to earn while studying. It became a stepping stone toward a greater future for herself and her family.

“JIB’s S4W program awakened something in me that strengthened my hope of building a greater future for myself and my family. Being given the opportunity to earn while studying is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that should never be taken for granted.”

What a productive day for our JIB SHS students!

From the delicious creations at Bake-O-Nomics by our Culinary, Patisserie, and Entrepreneurship students to the creative displays and engaging presentations at the Tourism Exhibit Showcase by our Hospitality and Tourism students, the day was filled with talent, confidence, and hands-on learning.

Through these activities, our students had the opportunity to apply their skills, showcase their creativity, and gain practical experience that goes beyond the classroom. Every creation, presentation, and interaction reflected their dedication, teamwork, and growing confidence.

At Joji Ilagan International Schools, we believe in providing meaningful learning experiences that help students discover their potential, strengthen their skills, and prepare for future careers in the culinary, business, hospitality, and tourism industries.
