The Davao Tourist Passport will soon be digitized for a mobile app.

This project will be a collaboration among the private-sector-led Davao Tourism Association (DATA), the City Government of Davao, and the government of Japan through the Smart JAMP (Smart City supported by Japan ASEAN Mutual Partnership).

The digitalization project, which falls under the Smart JAMP project “Advancing Tourism DX (Digital Transformation) and Smart Mobility under a data-driven approach”, will transform the physical tourist passport booklets into a digital app powered by the Horai MaaS (Mobility as a Service) Platform.

The Davao Tourist Passport will soon be digitized for a mobile app.

DATA and several KaDATA participated in TLEX (Travel and Leisure Expo) at SMX Davao. The expo is one of the trio events simultaneously organized by WORLDBEX. The other two expos are PHILBEX (Philippine Building and Construction Expo) and mafbex (Manila Food and Beverages Expo). The trio runs May 7-10.

33rd Travel Tour Expo (TTE) VisMin Edition

Held for the first time in Davao City, this year's TTE Vismin edition will be held on June 5–7, 2026, the expo will have 100 exhibitors and 114 booths, offering exclusive travel deals from airlines, hotels, resorts, tour operators etc. They will offer event exclusive affordable deals and packages. The expo is a flagship project of the Philippine Travel Agencies Association (PTAA) with Philippine Airlines (PAL) and Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) as key partners.

The event is targeted to attract 2,000 visitors and aims to position Davao as a major hub of travel and tourism

Running alongside is the 33rd TTE is the 11th International TravelTrade Expo (iTTE), a business-to-business platform linking international sellers with local travel buyers.
