Philippine Airlines (PAL) announces the temporary suspension of its flights between Manila and Riyadh (RUH) — until March 31, 2026.

𝐏𝐑 𝟔𝟓𝟒/𝟔𝟓𝟓 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐚-𝐑𝐢𝐲𝐚𝐝𝐡-𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐚

This precautionary measure is being taken considering the evolving security situation affecting parts of the Middle East and the resulting operational uncertainties in certain regional airspace corridors and airport operations.

The safety of our passengers, crew, and aircraft remains Philippine Airlines’ highest priority. Given the current environment, PAL has determined that temporarily suspending these services is the most prudent course of action while conditions remain fluid.

PAL continues to closely monitor developments and coordinate with aviation authorities and relevant stakeholders to determine when normal operations can safely resume.

𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐬
Passengers with affected bookings may avail themselves of the following options:
• Free rebooking once flights resume
• Conversion of tickets into travel credits for future use
• Full refunds, in accordance with applicable policies
PAL’s customer service teams are actively assisting passengers through our website, contact center, and ticket offices.

We recognize that many travelers on these routes are Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) who rely on these flights to travel between their workplaces and families. Philippine Airlines remains committed to supporting Filipino travelers during this period while ensuring that all flights operate under the highest safety standards.

𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐨 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬
PAL Cargo operations on these routes are also affected. The airline is working with logistics partners to explore alternative routing options where possible to support the continued movement of essential goods.

𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐞𝐝 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠
The suspension implemented reflects PAL’s current operational planning horizon, and the airline will continue to review developments closely.

Philippine Airlines appreciates the patience and understanding of our passengers as we prioritize safety. PAL remains committed to restoring our Middle East services as soon as conditions allow, while continuing to connect our passengers to the world with safe, reliable, and caring service.

For updates and assistance, passengers may visit www.philippineairlines.com or contact PAL’s Customer Service channels.

Cebu Pacific Advisory
Network Adjustments Due to Middle East Crisis

March 23, 2026

Cebu Pacific (CEB) will implement temporary network adjustments, including frequency reductions and flight cancellations, in response to the Middle East crisis.

These changes are driven by the impact of the crisis on global fuel prices, which have more than doubled compared with 2025 averages.

We understand that these changes may disrupt travel plans, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Affected passengers have been informed and provided with the following options through the Manage Booking portal on the CEB website https://www.cebupacificair.com/manage-booking:

1. Free Rebooking

Rebook your flight without fare difference subject to availability up to 30 days before or after your original flight.

2. Travel Fund

Instantly convert the value of your fare to Travel Fund, which you can use for future trips. The Travel Fund stored in the MyCebuPacific account does not expire and can be used to book for anyone.

3. Refund

Request a refund of your fare. Processing time depends on your form of payment.

CEB is proactively taking measures to ensure stable and sustainable operations. These network adjustments have been carefully implemented to address the current impact, with the rest of our network expected to operate as scheduled.

We encourage customers to keep their contact details updated via the CEB website or mobile app, and to check CEB’s social media channels for the latest advisories.

We thank our passengers for their continued understanding and support.
