NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC
UPDATED

The City Government of Davao hereby gives notice to all airplane passengers bound for Davao International Airport of the requirement of the presentation, upon check-in at the airport of origin, of a negative RT-PCR test result issued within 48 hours from the date of departure. This shall be implemented beginning July 20, 2020.

A rapid test kit result SHALL NOT be accepted. All arriving passengers without this negative test result shall be held at the airport and will not be allowed to come out until they arrange for their testing — at their own cost.

On May 30, 2020, the City Government requested this policy to be implemented before we started resumption of regular commercial flights because it was vigorously advised by the DOH XI Epidemiology Bureau and Infectious Disease Specialists in the Region.

From July 5-13, 2020, the highest confirmed Covid19 cases in Davao City were travellers from Manila. On July 14 we reiterated our request for testing before boarding. We thank the CAAP, DOTR, and IATF for this approval.

This will greatly help Mindanao in keeping the increasing cases at a manageable level.

Thank you!

DAILY FLIGHT UPDATE: List of airports with commercial flights as of 7 July 2020, 7:00PM

Airlines have scheduled commercial flights at 20 airports in the country after Local Government Units (LGUs) allowed the commercial operation of airports in their respective areas.

Some airports, while allowing commercial flights, are subject to different documentary and passenger LGU restrictions.

Note that the resumption of regular commercial flights depend on coordination and conditions imposed by LGUs.

PAL Advisory #63
[UPDATE – as of June 18, 10 PM)
https://www.facebook.com/notes/philippine-airlines/pal-flights-in-june-2020/10159396959488306/

Dear PAL Passengers:
Our June 2020 flight schedules are highly subject to change for reasons beyond our control; these are not normal times. We may have to cancel, add or adjust our planned flights, based on:
· entry restrictions and requirements set by local government units (LGUs) for domestic travel, which change day to day;
· COVID testing/quarantine limitations for international arrivals in the Philippines
· travel bans and restrictions in other countries.

PAL coordinates closely with all LGUs and government authorities. We comply with all approvals and conditions. We all work together to protect public health during these critical times.

Here is the latest update on the scheduled flights we plan to OPERATE on selected international and domestic routes:

INTERNATIONAL - (June 18 to 30, 2020)
Note: – Certain flights may land in Cebu instead of Manila, due to limited COVID testing slots in Manila. If so, passengers will undergo testing and hotel quarantine in Cebu. PAL will arrange for transfer to Manila (NAIA) for those who receive negative test results, usually within 24-48 hours of testing

Here’s the updated Gradual Flight Restart plan, as of June 17, 12NN.

All international flights remain cancelled until July 31, 2020. Meanwhile, domestic flights are on limited schedules. Details may be found here https://bit.ly/CEBflights_Jun19to30.

This is a developing situation. We may reduce or add flights depending on passenger demand, quarantine conditions and travel restrictions. We continue to work with national and local authorities on restarting flights.

We would like to remind that only passengers with confirmed flights are advised to go to the airport. We will keep providing updates as soon as it’s available.

Let’s all work together, so .
