El Niño Alert issued ⚠️

DOST-PAGASA has officially raised its ENSO Alert and Warning System to El Niño Alert, following the high likelihood of its development in the coming months and possible persistence into early 2027. This may bring drier-than-usual conditions, including dry spells and droughts in parts of the country.

However, above-normal rainfall may still be experienced over the western sections during the Habagat season.

VALENTINE’S SPECIAL 💞

Love, music, and memorable moments filled the night at the Valentine’s Special, featuring an energetic back-to-back performance by Golavibes Band and Blackbird Band. The celebration brought couples together for an evening of live entertainment, great vibes, and heartfelt connections.

Special thanks to Mayor Emerson Luego for the thoughtful gesture of giving flowers and chocolates to every couple present, adding an extra touch of warmth and appreciation to the celebration.

A productive coordination meeting was held in preparation for the upcoming Motour Ride Event scheduled on February 26–28, 2026, bringing together stakeholders from the Province of Davao de Oro, Municipality of Mabini, and Pantukan. The discussion focused on operational readiness, safety coordination, tourism support, and ensuring a smooth, well-organized event for all participants.

This activity is in line with the Bulawan Festival 2026 celebration and the 28th Founding Anniversary of the Province of Davao de Oro, highlighting strong collaboration among agencies and communities to promote tourism, strengthen partnerships, and ensure a safe and successful event for everyone involved.
