Notice on Possible Delays Today, May 20, 2024


Dear passengers:

A number of flights of PAL will need to be delayed or cancelled today, May 20, 2024, as a result of technical issues with the radar system for the Manila area which is affecting departures and arrivals of scheduled flights.

We are closely coordinating with the aviation authorities on the adjustment of flight schedules and clearances, as the authorities are working expeditiously to resolve this temporary problem.

We will take all necessary steps to restore normal schedules as soon as possible.

As always, safety is our top priority, and we seek your kind understanding and patience. For flights to or from Manila, we advise you to check the status of your journey before proceeding to the airport. Please visit https://www.philippineairlines.com/en/flight-status for the latest update.

If your flight is CANCELLED, you have the option to:

1. Convert your ticket to Travel Credits equivalent to the unused segment of your ticket. Voucher validity is one year (1) from the date of issuance.

2. Rebook or Reroute your ticket to another flight with available space within 60 days from the original flight in the same booking class or higher within the same cabin class.

3. Refund ticket without penalties, excluding Ticketing Service Charge.

Cebu Pacific Advisory #1
Issue with NAIA Air Traffic Management Center
As of May 20, 2024, 1:30 PM

Cebu Pacific (CEB) advises its passengers that flights departing and arriving at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) may experience delays due to issues related to the software at the Air Traffic Management Center (ATMC) which are affecting operations.

CEB is coordinating with the necessary authorities on when the situation will normalize. We will provide updates as more information becomes available.

Resumption of Flights in Cotabato Airport
Sept. 28, 2023

Cebu Pacific (CEB) is pleased to inform its passengers that it will resume Cotabato operations starting October 1, 2023.

CEB was able to complete a thorough and satisfactory safety assessment of the runway at Cotabato’s Awang Airport following examinations and repairs performed by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP).

“We welcome the reopening of the Cotabato Airport to commercial jet aircraft and congratulate the CAAP in upgrading the operations to ensure safe, affordable and reliable flights for travelers," said Xander Lao, CEB President and Chief Commercial Officer.
