Dauin is one of the most blessed municipalities in Negros Oriental when it comes to Tourism. Aside from the people’s hospitality in dealing with tourists, the town is adorned with a lot of spots worthy to be labeled as tourist destination. Though, Dauin has no delicacies to offer, the resorts and beaches all over the place and the rich coastal resources like marine reservation areas are more than enough. It has also one of the most fun-filled festivals in the province, the Kinaiyahan Festival. Dauin is also known as the center for water sport adventures in the island and of course marked as one of the world’s best dive sites. It is also just 15.9 kilometers away from the gateway city, Dumaguete and can be travelled to around 17 minutes through almost all forms of land transport services such as jeepneys, buses, easy rides, and other motor vehicles. Some of the accommodation establishments also have their own transport services available for customer rental. Thus, Dauin is a perfect place to travel to.
