EL NIDO ISLAND HOPPING ADVISORY | August 18, 2026

For everyone’s safety, all island hopping tours and boat voyages using vessels and watercraft with 15GT and below in El Nido and Western Seaboard of Taytay, Palawan are TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED today.

In reference to the PAGASA Weather Forecast as of 04:00 AM today, 18 August 2026, and PCG Sea Travel Advisory #02.

This is due to the adverse effect of the Low-Pressure Area currently 1,115 km East of Northern Luzon, and the Southwest Monsoon affecting Luzon and Visayas.

Please coordinate with your tour operators for rebooking and updates.

In reference to the PAGASA Weather Forecast as of 04:00 AM today, August 14, 2026, the Coast Guard Station Northern Palawan is STILL TEMPORARILY SUSPENDING all voyages of vessels and watercraft with 3GT and below in the Western Seaboard of Taytay and El Nido, Palawan due to the adverse effect of the Southwest Monsoon affecting Luzon and the western section of Visayas.

✅ TOURS ALLOWED - Island hopping tours using vessels above 3GT may still proceed
❌ 3GT BELOW NOT ALLOWED - Small boats and kayaks remain suspended

Please check with your tour operator or accommodation for updates before heading out to sea.
