I have always loved JAPANESE and ITALIAN fusion since my first visit to Japan over 10 years ago. I generally dislike fusion cuisine, but these two cuisines are so similar—both focus on simple, quality ingredients.
Hokkaido has it all: great cheese, water, awesome fish, excellent meat, fresh veggies, butter, and now even wine!
Next, I’ll share a more detailed post about Furano wine, guided by Furano tourism.
All these dishes were tried in small restos around Hokkaido within my 3 weeks stay within Snowboard sessions.
